Binaural Mics

Recently I've been out and about recording with a pair of Binaural earbud mics. They are really excellent for so many reasons. Sound quality has to be good of course, and it is. but, what I am enjoying most about recording with them is how discrete I can be. Nobody suspects a thing! It's also great to be able to record on the move - while walking, going through doors, using stairs, taking lifts etc. Awesome stuff :)

These are the fellas here:

I have added some windshields to them that only go over the mic elements. This way I can use them when there is a little wind. I stuck them on with double sided sticking tape. You can see I have colour coded them too. This way I plug them into the left and right ears to correspond with the left and right channel of the Zoom H6.
